Clarification of components.

Ok, I'm working on both swinging and hitting, trying to learn both, seperately to make sure I don't mix components. Can one of the experts out there give a quick list of the components of each in layman's terms...Ex:

Hitting

Open Stance
Cross-line hipslide
Right forearm thrust
etc.etc...

Thanks in advance,

Not the expert- he’s on a cart.

But:

There are many options that either stroke can use. Of the 24 components, roughly a third of them (9- I believe) are different. Wrist action, Hinge Action, Lag loading, Trigger type, Power Package Assembly, and PP Loading are six. No book with me right now.

You can, with the other 15 or so, use a variety of component variations. I hope a nice list from Jim or someone else gets posted.

The main difference is that swingers let the clubhead fly with the cranking of the right shoulder- that spin spin spin, that Yoda talks about. CF throws out the clubhead. A true rotational throw out.

Hitter’s mash the ball like a battering ram. Driving the right arm dead into the ball

The components need to assist you in either pulling or pushing.

I know this isn’t what you asked for, but I will try to make a short list today- I’m working this Father’s day- and post something if nobody else has.

ps- this doesn't list components but sheds great light- I know you have seen it but watch it often:
