It's been almost 2 months since saw Brian. Only have gotten to play a few times, due to screwing up my ankle. The first couple of times playing, shot 110's. Mostly a couple of big blow-ups surrounded by decent holes. Really working the tumble and axis tilt. The irons were flying great, but then started to have problems with the driver topping or smother hooking it out of bounds. Then thought about a previous post about angle of attack, and decided to try to tee my ball up more for the driver. From old school TGM, I trained myself to hit down on the driver, so I used 2 1/2 inch tees. So bought a few 3 1/4 tees and played today. Shot 95, best round in a couple years. Wasted a few shots on the first few holes because was trying to rush. I got to walk on solo when the first tee time was available. The next tee time arrived just after I teed off, so was trying to give myself cushion.

No smother hooks. I really think the taller tees helped. Fell in love with a new hybrid (Tour Exotic which was touted here). And putted much better thanks to learning about Geoff Mangum from here, and from a few tips from Damon. I need to keep working on maintainin a full swivel (almost to wedding ring up) and tiliting the axis. I think the tumble is ingrained now, and when I think too much tumble, I pull hook it. But after shaving 20 strokes, I'm not complaining. Thanks Brian, and thanks forum.

I had the same issue until I started hovering the driver as opposed to letting it touch the ground on set-up. How would you describe the new hybrid off the tee? I've been looking at their products but haven't heard enough feedback from people actually using it in my area

I actually like it better off the tee than my three wood. Nice high flight and not a hook machine like I've had with other hybrids. Just teed it up barely above the ground. I only bought a 3 iron replacement, but am thinking of getting the 2 iron to replace my 3W and a 4 iron.
