Ok, I just found my receipt from last year where I had a guy put together a driver for me. Looks like it was a 10.5* head and turned it into a 10* head that's 1/2* closed. Not sure why since I haven't sliced in years. Now I'm having a hard time with too much right to left. How much impact does that 1/2* have?????? Thinking about calling him and changing it back to neutral. Thanks!

PS I know it's the indian and not the arrow. But the indian still has to have a proper arrow.

I was always told that with a driver, 1 degree was equal to about 7 yards of curve (on average). So 1/2 degree closed would be around 3-4 yards of hook spin.

I'm not sure if that's correct however. It's just what has been drilled into my head.

The more closed a driver is at address ADDS LOFT and the more open a driver is at addres DECREASES LOFT.

Most retail drivers are very heel biased (for draw) and also have very closed faces (again to promote a draw). So if you are a natural drawer of a ball, it will only hurt.

Neutral Drivers.

If you hook it too much, and have a "game improvement" driver with ahook bias in face angle and heel weight, get a more neutral one.

The Ping G10 is very good, and very square.
