Closing the Clubface

If clubs are "too long" for someone, or the shafts too stiff, or a combination of both, be a leading cause of not closing the clubface enough at impact?

I'm looking for generalities regarding the clubface opening or closing of the clubface.

Yes. Too long could cause them to stand the handle up, or back the shaft up, both could result in an opening torque applied to the club face.

why? Those generalities will only let you make assumption that will not help or can be used in anyway.

But oke, in general : Club to long --> sweetspot issues, too stiff --> clubpath issues.

--More important is however the golfer in front of you. It depends on the golfer's swing biomechanics how he will react to the changes in material.--
