I own and have been playing a set of Tommy Armour EVO V31 irons for 4-5 years these heads are cast. I just purchased, off of ebay, a set of Tommy Armour V25 irons... these were, I thought, to be identical except these are forged where my original ones are cast. Well, I pulled out the P-wedge and the 7-iron from my original set and took those to the range with my new(used) forged set. I happened to notice the lenght of the P-wedge was almost an inch longer and the 7-iron on the forged set was also longer!!! I had my original set of irons reshafted a few years back but I assumed the shafts (riffle) were the same length as the ones they replaced... maybe I'm wrong. Either that or the shafts on my recently purchased set is longer and maybe they have already been reshafted!!! Dont' know what to do next. I would like for them to be close to the same. The reason for buying a 2nd set of clubs was for me to leave a set at 2nd location that I visit once per month (and not need to carry my clubs each time). For sure the lie angle on the new set needs to be adjusted.
Thanks
Ken

Easy way to fix: choke down on the grip

Hard way to fix: take off grips and butt cut to length.

However, both "fixes" are going to lower your swing weight accordingly
