Club-fitting for swingers and hitters.

As per 6-C-2-0, Clubhead Lag has an equalizing application in minimizing swing weight differences. Your “normal” pressure will move lighter Clubs faster and heavier Clubs slower- the change in Approach Speed (faster for lighter clubs and slower for heavier clubs) being fairly well compensated by the opposite effect on Separation Speed (slower for lighter clubs and faster for heavier clubs).

Is it easy to push or pull something heavy??

So would a hitter benefit from heavier stiffer clubs because there pushing the weight??
Just inquiring I don't have the answer. I need to find out before I get my new clubs in December.

Sorting through the Duffers Bible.

Here is a post that i put up about fitting hitters vs swingers. Please read the whole thread as i picked a generic example and tried my best.

Anymore questions, feel free to ask. If you are wondering where i get all my info from it is from my own personal experience as being both a swinger/hitter and from my clubfitter as well. He taught me A LOT.

Jim,

In your post mentioned above, you say that Horizontal Hinging produces a lower ball flight than Angled Hinging (hence the lower driver lofts recommened for hitters) because it hasn't got the lay back motion of the clubface. However, why do most hitters/swingers say they get a lower ball flight when hitting?

don't know

I went from hitting my 8* (measured at 8.25* and closed .25*) 13/14* launch angle with about 2700-3300rpm of spin (with my hitting swing) and then as i got better with swinging and got a true horizontal hinge i went to about 10-11* of launch and 2500-2800rpm of spin

I'd probably say improper technique. Setup, ball position, tilt, etc all play a role
