club in line with right arm well after follow through

what does it mean if your club looks in line with the right arm well after the follow through? i seem to be getting this look these days, even though i'm not trying to put any force across the shaft using my right arm (i.e. i feel like a swinger)

if you are talking about a straight-line relationship between the club shaft and the right arm, it merely means you have really good extension through the ball. if you are a swinger, then you may be creating a lot of lag, causing the downward hit. now as you rotate through the hit, the right side accelrates and keeps up with the club for a bit longer.

also, pretty much everyone has SOME right hand force on the shaft through the shot, so that will have an effect as well

(FATS would tend to keep the shaft up the left arm)

yes, "up the left arm" is what I mean. And yes, even with using FATS (feel wise anyway). And even with driver.

whether you feel it or not, you must be utilising some right hand force across the shaft.

pretty much everyone has both pivot lead lag, and pushing force on the club through impact. some more lag than pushing, and vice versa
