Club underplane, right shoulder too high

I use the aiming point procedure, I feel like I transport my power package so that my hands are just left of my left foot from my point of view. I hit crisp shots this way. However when doing this, my right shoulder doesn't stay on plane, it rises above it. Looks abit like Martin Kaymer.

When I try to get my right shoulder down the correct plane, my hands have a hard time reach the aiming point. I lose my trigger delay. The club also gets underplane, low point moves backwards and I can't hit down properly.

How can I reach my aiming point with an on plane right shoulder without getting the club underplane?

detonum,

Good questions. You didn't mention anything about ball flight, so I'm assuming your misses are pulls or pull/hooks?

As far as getting that shoulder on plane I don't think there's an easy answer. You've really gotta maintain that #3 accumulator in the downswing to prevent stickin' it in the ground.

Try this for a drill: Setup w/ impact hands (to ingrain that on plane "feeling") with a wedge and ball position even or left of your left foot :)

Take a half/three quarter swing and try and take a divot.

I have struggled with this the past couple of weeks as well. Right shoulder gets too high, right arm is too far above my left on the backswing. I end up having to work really hard to get the right elbow "underneath" during transition and in the downswing.

I worked on flattening my shoulder turn a bit as well as some right arm only swings where the "feel" is the right elbow leading. That drill really gets me in a good pitch position. This seemed to cure me. But believe me, I felt lost for about a week. It wasn't till I saw some video of myself that I realized what I was doing.

Actually, when I hit my normal shot with a high right shoulder, my plane line is a little bit closed and I hit a draw. Also even with my high right shoulder, my right forearm is on plane with the clubshaft at impact. Weird. But when I try to lower my right shoulder, plane line is way closed and low point moves back.

I wish the snow would melt here in Finland already, I only get to hit balls a couple times a week in a dome and a simulator. Slow progress... But I'll try your advice, thanks guys.
