clubface twist revisited

Dear Brain and all,

I posted last night that I already do the early twist in my takeaway, and as a result tend to hook and pull. I was wondering if this twist move can actually be done much later in the swing? Is that not what Hogan did, fan and cup to the top, twist and bow to impact? When I twist early, i do not get a full wrist set and my flexibility or lack thereof , is a problem as well.

any chance of a vid with the 'twist' highlighted in slow-mow BM? i'm hearing alot of discussion about it but can't get a definitive image of it.

I am not Brian, but I play him on t.v. The twist I speak of would be the new feel for someone like me who usually opens or rotates the clubface open in the backswing. If you have been doing your takeaway correctly, my sensation of twist is off your radar screen. Another way to describe it is to keep the clubface staring at the back of the ball all the way to the top. Going from a opening clubface takeaway to this shut look feels like a twist. If you hook or draw or fight the lefts, leave it alone, move on.
