Clubshaft and right forearm

Just a simple question (I think)...
If the club shaft aligns nicely with the right forearm on the way down, does it really matter where it came from in the backswing?

Well...

You can have the club "through the forearm" but still be "out of position."

But, assuming it IS in the "right" position for you, it doesn't matter where it cam from.
