Was at the Swamp for the game today - you may want to hold off 'til they get the play calling worked out .

How is this a "deal" for Brian? How about if you lose you pay triple and we(the forum) get to see the lesson online, while you have the lesson in a Mike the Tiger mascot uniform.

hmmmmmm....... Florida is now 3-0, 1-0 in the SEC.

Their first victory was over non-conference foe "Charleston Southern" - the mighty Bucaneers...... is it possible there's a "Charleston Northern"?

Victory #2 came after a hard-fought battle with the "Troy Trojans"!

tsk tsk Hjack. :)

ah but there is a reason

both teams got almost 1/2 million dollars each to come to florida......money that helps THEIR program....

we here in florida...like to help those.....building programs

ps....we needed todays game.....now our players can start practicing like they are champions......to much publicity...

any way.....florida state destroyed byu tonight.......byu was 7 in country

I totally understand the financial benny to schools willing to come in and get served up on a silver platter. Just highlighting the fact that LSU's schedule is on a par with the Gators.
(I have plenty of Gators in my family and am a fan myself).

Looks like Florida may be glad to have FSU at home this year. ;)

gators at home

robbo......fsu played well tonight......offensively......4 poss 4 touchdowns.....in the beg. but....byu...who had abso no defense.....as well as fsu had not defense.....jimbo fisher is the offensive coord for f.s.u......they are grooming him as the next head coach......christian ponder looked good......anyway.....urban meyer is a happy man tonight.......not for winning....for getting "played" forget the headlines gentlemen we are not as good as WE thought.......he will have a much easier time getting his players to listen this week...

you had a great game in texas tonight

hjack

Now that was special

yes it was.......what an ending......0-12 the year before

had lost 15 in a row.....the excitement of college football

nothing like it........fans storming the field.....wow......

JACORY

Jacory Harris.......yes sir...what an exciting quarterback

the thing i enjoy most about watching Miami play is their decorum on the field. Randy Shannon has put an emphasis on sportsmanship. i like that.....they do look good......

Jack Nicklaus football??

well its sunday and pro football dominates my t.v.

wanted to share something i find interesting,,,hope you will. i live in sarasota.... there is a high school here called

Cardinal Mooney.......years ago a great football player named Bill O'Leary played there, then went to Georgia on a scholarship. when at georgia he met a young lady by the name of Nan.......she was a volleyball player. he had sworn he would never marry a volleyball player and she the same about football. Easy to figure out from here they did get married...have 5 kids.....one of the kids is named Nick O'Leary.........ok here we go......

Nick was chosen as the top tight end recruit in the country by Rivals.com. he goes to school in palm beach at Dwyer high school.......(cmon hjack what about nicklaus). okay okay.........the young lady name was
nan NICKLAUS.......yep jacks daughter.......married Bill

and Nick is their son ....AND.....JACKS GRANDSON.....

being from sarasota myself....Bill is a good friend of mine......probably the finest football player ever to come out of sarasota......just thought i would share what i consider a neat story. oh one last thing, Bill works for NICKLAUS DESIGN.......

ORIGINAL STORY

Lets be honest. When Jack Nicklaus was a youngster (right), he looked more offensive lineman than star receiver. He was a hair chubby, but could hit the golf ball a mile and knew it. Lucky for Nick O'Leary, Jack's grandson who Rivals.com has as a top football recruit, he didn't get the midsection that accompanied his granddad.

O'Leary, a 6-foot-4, 215 pound junior from Dwyer High in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., is being herald as one of the top tight end prospects in the entire country, already receiving written scholarship offers from Florida, South Carolina, Miami, Tennessee, West Virginia, Boston College and Florida International.

"Nick is such a natural (athlete),'' Jack Nicklaus said about one of his 21 grandchildren. "From the time that kid was 5-6 years old - if they put him in the outfield in baseball, at the crack of the bat he would be on it. You don't teach somebody that.

"In football, if he can touch it, he catches it. If the ball is in the air, he's going to be the first one there."

Jack, who said he doesn't try to give his grandson advice because he'd rather him figure it out himself, is one of the most famous Buckeyes in the land, and Nick has said Ohio State is on his short list of dream schools.

"USF, UCF, Wisconsin, Ohio State a lot, Miami, Tennessee a little bit, Florida ..." he said.

College is a year away for Nick, but if he can keep it up, he won't have to worry about bunkers and hazards, but it sure beats having 260-pound linebackers coming for you

richrod

no question richrod has gotten the attention of some people.....but why does he go around the locker room saying to each player......YOU DO LIKE ME....RIGHT???
