Compatibility of Patterns

Is there any component in the patterns that Brian teaches that would be considered incompatible with other patterns? I find that it seems very easy to take components of soft draw and mix them with never hook again for example. Twistaway from NSA2 is a great antidote in many of the patterns for opening clubfaces. I am trying to incorporate the NSA2 neutral grip into a combination of the soft draw pattern backswing and NHA downswing. My question is what would be a potential pitfall?

Anything MIGHT work.

Why don't you put together a list of what you are trying, and I'll evaluate it for you?

Thanks Brian. I am trying to eliminate being underplane. Here is the list I am working on after a winter of watching and rewatching NSA2, NHA2 and Softdraw. 1. Manzella neutral grip. 2. SoftDraw posture. 3. LCT, step on right foot takeaway. 4. Steep shoulder turn, straighten right leg, full hip turn. 5. Carry of NHA. 6. Down the wall downswing of NHA. 7. Left thumb under shaft finish, feel of elbows pointing slightly left of target, cap of grip points left of target.

Where is the ball going?

shanks on occasions and pulls. On a monitor, the club is coming into the ball about four degrees in to out. (still snow on the ground) I am working on the neutral grip because my right hand is trying to save the shot by rolling hard. I am wearing marks in cord grips with my right thumb.
