Covering the ball with your chest?

I was going through some old golf mags and found one where Adam Scott was talking about a) setting his wrists very early on the backswing and not dragging the club back and b) feeling as if he covered the ball at impact with this chest

Is this the same feeling as trying to ensure your chest and arms all move down and forward at the same time as when I try and feel this it feels like a upper body lunge?

Brian can confirm, but this whole idea of "chest covering" for better players is their "wording" for what being OPEN at impact feels like. They are usually too closed and it usually feels like you are very armsy. When you get someone like that open at impact they can hit down on a it better and swing more left. It's just a different sensation for them.
