Well I just watched David's tape, and his swing speaks for itself.

Looking forward to seeing it posted sometime.

I'll keep my comments brief and just say, nobody does Hogan better. Not that I've ever seen. And that just may include Hogan himself.

Well done David. Well done.

You sir, need to be put on television.

Thanks for sharing that with me, I appreciate it very much indeed. As a fan, I very much appreciated the end of the tape. Loved it! I don't care much for the vocal, but man the rest is pure music to the ears, ;)[8D]

Now didn't I tell you guys this?? [8D]

I too look forward to seeing it on-line.

Now if only DA could/would debate as well he swings....

Ed, the first 20 or so swings showing ball striking were an early development of a hitting swing I am working on. It was good enough, I put it in rather than go to the range again. The "improved" version is in the 3 or so swing sequences right after Moe Norman's swing. You'll notice a few differences compared to the range clip.

IMO, this is a better swing than my Hogan swing, although it doesn't look as interesting, perhaps. I haven't used the Hogan model much lately.

btw, Mac O'Grady was the guy in the yellow shirt.

some great clips there, thanks David!

The Mac clip was interesting to see indeed, lost his balance a bit there though. Even your '89 clip had great 'club' motion, but you certainly have worked hard!

How's your shortgame? ;)

I put the '89 clip in just to show how gawd' awful I was then.

(Greg, you might want to take a look at this for that reason).

Short game was decent plus, but I was always working more on the full swing except for a year when I was injured and ended up writing a book/manuscript on putting (currently unpublished).

I probably glossed over the earlier discussion but what is the problem with getting a video of David's swing posted?

Well, the tape has different swing models: a Mike Stolic swing (I told you I could do it! - Ed that's where I'm wearing a base ball cap after the comparison to Nicklaus's and Weiskopf's swing), an early set/Dante swing, Hogan swings, a right side hit swing, a modified Moe Norman swing, so it depends on which swing model and they were all VHS. Some of these swing were at the range to answer the suspicion I can't hit the ball (I shot some from behind to show ball flight), others weren't.

I actually have a web designer on salary now, but we're doing some business stuff not related to golf at the moment. I'm in the publishing business, so trust me, all this will be "published", but I would say for everything to get done, I'm two yrs. out. Probably can get a golf swing website up much sooner.

If you want a copy, I'll be glad to send it, just email me.

To clarify, I sandwiched my swings in between the famous: Bobby Jones, Moe Norman, Weiskopf, Nicklaus, Mac O'Grady, Hogan, Bryon Nelson, Faldo. Most of these player's were in their prime and I'm now a mid senior (55 going on 56).

6Bee, you said I probably had the crappiest swing of anyone here because I'm old and "my parts don't work". Send me your email, and I'll send you a copy too.

The gyspy music at the end? If I have to explain, you just wouldn't understand.

I'm getting emails from people I don't know asking for the tape. This is not an instruction tape. "If you want a copy, just email me" was in response to Dave Clary, sorry wasn't clear about this.

Brian has an instruction tape, you may want to order his.

I also apologize for spouting off about "what I'm going to do", breaking one of my own rules, but people keep asking. I wouldn't have even wasted my time making this (stupid) demo video, but almost everyone in this forum was convinced beyond reasonable doubt I was a fake. Keep an open mind.

rwh, your tape will be mailed soon, I've been jammed.

That's incorrect. 6Bee in particular was convinced I must have the worst swing of anyone here. I don't know what other systems you mean. I demonstrated most of the ones that have been talked about here in the video.

there must be someone nearby that can transfer vhs to digital. i'm very interested in seeing those models.
The wheels are in motion--The DA Swing page will appear in the not too distant future.

Any update on when the DA swing page will be up?
I haven't heard from DA since I made that post. So let me ammend that last post. Should I receive a tape from DA, I'll put up the swing page ASAP.
