Anyone else rooting for him? Would make a great story. Has anyone else had such a drop in performance?? He went from #1 to like #800 (or something) in the world. Crazy journey.

I am. He was always one of my favorites and he shot some incredible rounds. Always down-to-earth and didn't take the fol-de-rol of fame all that seriously.

I always have him highlighted on the pgatour.com leaderboard. The guy just needs to hit some fairways. He is putting lights out but the tee game is off the charts bad. He can't seem to get away from the disaster holes because of it although he is doing better lately with managing that. Hopefully he shoots a good round today so he can get some weekend air time.

I really hadn't starting playing when he was great, but I've always liked him because he's had such a rough go of it the last few years and I guess I like underdogs. Every once in awhile on the golf channel they'll show his final round at the Bob Hope that year he shot 59 and the sound of his irons/wedges striking the ball that day is unbelievable.

I always pull for david, but I dont think he will ever be back after the injury.

He seems cooler since he actually started eating:) I remember seeing him when he weighed nothing..he looked miserable. Maybe it was the stress of being #1 or something, but I remember him never looking very happy. I hope somehow he gets his stuff together, he seems nice.
