Justin Rose seems to have made a quantum leap with his golf game in the last few months...
Seems to have more tilt at address than he used to, especially with the shorter clubs. And he really holds the tilt angle through impact/follow thorough....

Missed most of the play today, including david Toms, and I relly wanted to watch his swing, we don't see too much of it over here....fell asleep in front of the TV...too much bickering going on today...:)

those two monster putts he made towards the end of the first round to keep himself in the game is what separates pga pros from others...

I was reading an interview with Nick Bradley who is his new coach. He said one of the first things they did was give Justin more tilt at address so it helps his weight transfer back. Certainly seems to be working as he is playing much better golf since he left DL

I put david toms swing in slow mo and it looked like to me his hips dont turn much going back I see his hands move first. I`m not an authority on this just what it seemed to me.

You ever see "Never Hook Again"?

David pattern is one "notch" inside the NEVER HOOK AGAIN pattern on the MANZELLA MATRIX, which was the pattern I developed learning David's swing from pre-1991 so I could "teach it back to him," which I did in 1997.

David's problem has always been swinging too far to the right. So if he swung more on a normal turned shoulder plane, on his downswing he would be under the turned shoulder plane but above the eblow plane and kind of be in what a friend of mine calls "no man's land." So he'd be under plane, swinging out to the right and the great ballstriker we expect from him would diminish.

So, David swings more up to the turning or squared shoulder plane so that when he shifts SLIGHTLY its back to the turned shoulder plane for impact and then for some reason (Brian can explain) David then goes on the elbow plane AFTER impact.

It's all designed around his problem of swinging too far right.
