Hold your leading side arm straight out in front of you, thumb pointing up, and parallel to the ground, palm facing back and the back of the hand facing the target.

Close your hand into a fist and you will see all the wrist c0ck that is needed. Any attempt to c0ck the wrist further will cause you to cup it.
 
I just like to bend the right wrist back, like pulling on a motor cord, and let the left (and only) wrist cock by itself. Might give the same results as Burner. Burn is right about going too far into a cup.

Right wrist bend could be more important than left wrist concerns because the downswing holds the truths. The right stays bent.
