The weird thing is, when I tee off my Superquad R7, it looks like it flew much further than my R11 Kai'li.

But after tested on the course, the R11 with Kai'li is actually 15-20 yards further than my R7.

So weird

How far do you fly your driver?

not far, with R7 super quad 65 gram probably around 260-280. I would have to swing pretty hard to get to 280.

With the R11 Diamana 70 gram around 275 and up without really trying. Smooth swing.

it's so weird. My other teammates' driving looks further than mine, but my ball would pass them easily 15-20 yards when we go to the fairway. My mind is blown.

I haven't had time to mess around and optimize my driver yet.

Its now setup to open 6 on heel 1 on toe. I need to get more weights to see different flights.

I tried the TP RIP 60, it totally sucks. Maybe I'm swinging too slow.

when Brian had trackman on me i think my ss was around 90 something, maybe because i didn't play for 6 month.

I was driving for like 240-250......

I wonder how the fubuki feels...

Don't know if i should try fubuki or another kai'li 60 instead of 70

The Kaili feels way better than the fubuki to me. It really depends though. Fubuki feels too whippy for me. I have a Fubuki in a Mizuno driver and a Kaili in the same Mizuno model driver. I can't hit the Fubuki hardly at all where I want. The Kaili shafted one is better matched for my swing.

The only way to tell for yourself is to try it.

i actually tried the fubuki 63 for r9...i felt like i was swinging a kids' driver? the head just goes wherere it wants.

so i dunno if i should try a heavier one or the new K line fubuki

Yep.

If you don't have to buy them, try them all 'till you find a good one.

Like a cheap whiteboard, i love it. I also have their hybrid shaft in my titleist 2H as well. Awesome stuff.

I'm on the other end of the spectrum with it, couldn't stand it. So...

I've got a like new (1 round on it, perfect tip) tour issue PX 7A3 driver shaft for cheap if anyone is looking for one.

Just got fitted by a top 100 fitter this last week and was told the project x wood shafts are the most inconsistent shaft on the market right now. He was showing me his books with charts of all the shafts and their different bend points. Project x in the sampling with 50 same shafts had 50 different results, not one matched. Where as the diamana and ust shafts were around 90-95% the exact same.

Anyways got fitted for a tour issue ahina 70x for the driver and tour issue fubuki 83x for 3 wood. Always have hit x flex but was surprised I was still fitted for an x when I had lost almost 10mph on club head speed from last year.

How do i find a reputable fitter?

Yes all the cool clubs guys are good. I got lucky and found a guy who has been doing it for a long time.

Make sure they use trackman or flightscope.
