digital video camera

I am in need of a digital camcorder that will enable to see my swing on super slow motion. I am willing to spend up to $500 or possibly $600. I know this issue has been discussed before on this forum, but I was wondering if someone could give some examples of specific models I could buy that are very effective (e.g., sony hc-65 and canon zr25 are ones that come to mind). Obviously, a model with high shutter speed capabilities is essential. Thanks in advance. Mark

When I was looking into a cam I found that the samsungs had the fastest shutter speeds AND allowed you to set the speeds manually. Whereas the others were sunlight dependant.

I ultimately didn't get one because I found that my little Canon digi-cam could get up to 60 fps in the sunlight. :)

Edit: I've talked with people from other forums on this subject and have seen vid with several cameras. 1/2000th is ok. 1/4000th is better, but you still miss some frames through the impact interval. Personally I would get something that went higher than that. Saves from wishing you had gotten more later on.
