Down hill, down wind, off a mountain top and onto a frozen slope.

Of course it can, but you better be from another planet to generate the speed needed to do so. I don't there is a human alive that could do it.

Mind you, the "4 minute miles" was anatomically impossible once too.

That is just nuts. It would be tough to be humble if you could hit it that far. But as we all know the game humbles all of us.

With that kind of length why not go to Q-school and try to play the PGA Tour. He would be pin high on most tee shots. It would be like a 15-handicapper playing a 4400 yard course. Every hole would be a 5-wood and a wedge, putting for birdie on twelve or more holes. Seems like a waste of talent to me. Kind of like Michael Jordan passing up the NBA to become a basketball trick-shot artist.

There's a world of difference between a scratch golfer and a tour pro. I think that your Michael Jordan isn't a fair comparison, in that Jordan was a great player, arguably the greatest of all time. He wasn't just a high wire act.

Jamie's a good player, but when he was asked why he wasn't on the tour, he himself said that he would need a lot more practice to take the shot.

He was on the golf channel playing with PGA Tour pros in Hawaii and only hit it 30-45 yards past Bubba Watson, Robert Garragus and Dustin Johnson.

He choked?Was Sadlowski hitting it shorter than normal?

Let's also not forget that guys like Bubba and Johnson given a longer driver and a swing for the fence mentality would be easily in the 130's clubhead speed so they are no pushovers.

I was carrying it well past the tour pros. He wasn't getting the roll that they got, especially when he stepped on it. It wasn't as close as the numbers. Had it been on a normal hole, it would have been a bigger gap.
