Due to extended commitments through the end of September, this will be my last post for awhile. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to exchange ideas with you and to provide any assistance I could. I want to thank Brian for the great job he has done with this site and for welcoming me aboard.

For those of you interested in a future Secrets of The Golfing Machine Workshop, the last for the year is now being coordinated with Laird Small, 2003 PGA Teacher of the Year and Director of the Pebble Beach Golf Academy. Tentative plans are for the Workshop to be held at Spyglass Hill on the Monterey Peninsula in late November or early December.

So, it's good-bye for now, but I'll check in from time-to-time later in the year. Until then,

Keep your Left Wrist Flat;

Trace a Straight Plane Line;

And by all means...

Sustain the Lag!

:)

holenone: Thanks for your posts they have been greatly appreciated. They have shaken up the way I look at golf and TGM and made me realise how much more there is to learn. Best of luck with whatever is taking you away from us. We look forward to your return. In the meantime you have left us with a legacy of posts for us to work through. I am still trying to get my head round some of them .

Sorry to see you go Yoda. I have read your posts on several different boards and can truly say that you add enormous value to these discusions.

I will keep watch for the Workshop dates, I definately plan to attend one at some point, hopefuly soon.

Based on your Send in the Dowels post I know that you are a music fan, so at this point I am not sure whether (to paraphrase The Happenings) I should be singing 'Seeeee You, In November' or whether you were just like Sinatra's Summer Wind. All Summer long, we sang a song but you just kept moving on.

I have a suggestion for a re-name of your Workshop:

The Golfing Machine University: Where Tomorrows great Hands go to get Educated Today. Remember, your Hands are a terrible thing to waste.

Best regards,

Triad

Their is over 1200 posts made by Yoda/Holeone/Blake on Thegolfingmachine.com--Chuckevansgolf.com and here. A friend of mine made a Yoda book with all his posts.
That same person went and spent a couple days with Yoda/Holenone and is VERY HAPPY he did.

A million thanks MR.BLAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only good result of your time away is I will be able to make some money on the tee line instead of checking posts.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in this forum agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

Bye bye Yoda..back to brian.

I would like personally Thank You for all the time and energy that you have given back to the game.

Your daily posts have been a great follow up, since attending the inaugural Secrets of the Golfing Machine Workshop.

You have made the game a true pleasure.
