can someone offer a drill for me to keep what i term my pivot from going too forward? i feel my body shifts too forward and more over my left side. almost like i'm leaning onto my left. my angle of attack appears too steep. any drills or suggestions?

Narrow your stance to just a few inches apart and hit shots from there. You won't be able to shift much or you'll give up balance. Keep your trail foot square to the line and your lead foot open about 30 to as much as 45 degrees.

I would say work on getting the left side to go work up thru impact. I kinda do the same thing with my lower body. I am working on keeping my hips closed longer (keeping my belt buckle pointed behind the ball longer) on the downswing and the left shoulder and hip working up thru impact helping my axis tilt and flattening the angle of approach.
