Well i got rid of my hooks and pull hooks from not being so flat on my backswing. It snuck in there from playing too much into the wind and i do it at times to lower the trajectory.

Now for some reason i am straightening my right leg and coming up out of the shot for some reason. Not sure why, anyone have any ideas or drills? Also i think that instead of driving my right shoulder downplane after i sense some kind of contact i feel myself coming up instead of driving it down.

Any help?

Try keeping the handle of the club in front of the clubhead on downswing through impact. some even like to feel as if they are pointing the butt end of the club down the target line. This forces you to stay with the shot longer and not lift up.

Sounds to me as though it is a deep rooted issue in your swing.... usually this is a fault that occurs because of what has gone before and not just because your body isn't 'doing it' .... set-up or take it back wrong - you will take it down wrong - simple huh....

i "think" i got rid of a lot of it. I started simply driving my shoulder down towards the ball; that coupled with keeping my right knee stable throughout the swing.

Hi. Have you tried synchronizing the movement of the back elbow (right elbow if you are righthanded) with the front hip (left hip for righthanded golfers) at the start of the downswing and through the slot? Of course the left hip with initiate the movement.

What I mean is that the back elbow, in my opinion, should work in a semi circle at an angle going down and towards the ball to counter act the front hip going forward and away from the ball to start the downswing in an effort to stay in the shot and keep body angles..
