Found this in my shed of "gadgets" tonight

One pristine wrist "Tic Tac"............

Any tips or drills for this lovely little gadget. I have been over to have a quick look at Ben Doyles site but wondered if anyone here could advise on it's use while waiting for DVD to arrive in UK

Cheers all

:)

There is a dvd that goes with it I`ll look for mine and let you know about drills. However when you swing the tic will tell you your wrist isnt flat. Mike Jacobs is a pro with this I`m sure he`ll answer your question, right Mike?

The best training aid on the market!!! I have 6 different drills and uses for the tac tic --- Tough to type them in a post however,

I sell over 100 every summer

Hi Mike,

How long would it take you to type em out?
What would you lesson fee for that time be?
Happy to paypal for your time...

pm me if you can

Many thanks

I got mine through one of the online companies through Amazon... they took forever to deliver... If you want to know their name as to avoid using them I'll look it up... I've not seen any at any of the retail stores...

Can someone go into a little more detail about this training aid. I have only been hanging out on this site for a while, this is the first I have heard about this. What is it? What does it look like? What is it supposed to help with?, etc?

Thanks

It is very hard for me to get a flat left wrist. I have the tic/tac. If you bend your wrist gripping the club it will tac,so you have to grip the club with a flat left wrist. if you bring it to the top and bend your left wrist tit will tac. Its not to hard to get use to gripping it and bringing to the top without it ticking. The downswing is really hard for me cause for it not to tic you have to turn your left arm over(wedding ring up). Learn that and I guess your on your way. For me I`m still crying oops I mean trying.

There is a similar device called the power click available. I have found it not to be great as my hearing is pretty bad and secondly you can never get the device skin tight so it will click even when it shouldn't. Not sure if tic tac is better or worse.

No fees, part of my sweat equity with the forum............ I am working on an article for this --- will post it when its completed --- half way done

Its been a busy fall for everyone, Brian is so busy we haven't even had the time to talk on the phone....

I personally taught more hours this fall than the last 3 falls combined

Great stuff, may work out I may get over to you at some point. Easier to convince the wife to go to New York than New Orleans

Really? Has she heard about the climate, food, and music she can experience in New Orleans?

New York is great, but New Orleans is unlike most any other place in the states.

We'll make it there eventually. But you can get great deal from the UK to New York on flights. And christmas shopping is good there too :D

I am sure that when you have set up that Post it will make for some very useful drill's.
I am a Pro here in australia and I have found the Tac Tic so affective for showing faults by the little click it produces when a fault is made. I have the whole series of tac Tic training aids in my studio.
Look Forward to it mate
Thanks

no drills on the DVD,but I love this thing, If it clicks ,your wrist is breaking down.Plain and simple.. Good luck....
