Driver Degree?

What is a good degree for a driver?

I have a 9.5 and a 10.5, but I want to get a 11 or 12 degree.

Will 11 or 12 make the ball just go higher and not further or will it travel higher and further?

To answer your question...

...more info is needed. What shaft are you using? What is your ball speed? Any curvature issues? What shaft length? What shaft weight?

Launch Monitor and correct Fitting shaft (and Length),..

Yes How true they are correct words...

Just went out and decided on a Ping G5 with Grafalloy shaft 10.5 and couldn't hit the thing to save my life..

My 12 degree $15 Dollar driver goes 30 yards past it...

Lesson learnt, will never buy another driver unless it fits me.

Ping G5 sold on Ebay following week.. :(

Will never buy another Driver off the shelf again ever..

Good Choice Jim.

But don't let the Pro just recommend a few to you and say,, this is good or this is bad.

You need a fitted driver..

Personally I'd wait till the Taylormade, Titleist , or any other tour vans are in your area and get down on the Monitor try a few different ones,

It's worth paying the extra bit for it..

Those guys can set you up with your spec , try and hit them then walk away if you want . No sale

Went with a Friend (Off Scratch) who was recently fitted at taylormade van with a R7 Quad, and I can see why he paid a bit more.. He just can't hit his drives wrong...

You can see it fit's him .. Don't know why but you can..

Good luck,
