I tend to hook/pull the ball when trying to cut my driver. I aim left and swing on that path. Any other adjustments or a different method to try?

Don't know why you would, but if you ever want to see a video of my driver swing, just Google "double cross".

I hate the dyslexic fade too.

Is this basically the same issue as a 2-way miss?

If so the last time I saw this discussed here, the cause was reckoned to be getting underplane. This made sense to me at the time, when I was hitting most balls with a right to left, but missing widely to both sides.

Are you likely to still be underplane if you're hitting most balls left to right?

Dear bcoak,

How would you rate your lower body dynamic balance ? Are you moving your left foot or possibly losing your balance because of the change in swing path.

I know I will soon be thought of as a broken record, but I have the experiences that conclude ANY attempts at shaping shots, or other advanced/elite swing characteristics come at the expense of dynamic balance, and yes, not enough attention to 'Bumpy back, keep it back'.

Please at least try it and let me know if I am wrong.
.

Thanks, and regards,

You're issue is why I've resorted to playing shots that requires a fade by trying to hit a push or a push-fade. Can't pull fade for the life of me at the moment. The result is pulls and pull hooks. I'd rather eliminate one side of the course and I have not yet been called on to start the ball left enough and then have it come back. If I did I'd need to reach into my bag for some Pampers.

Does the d plane for the driver have a play here? By aiming left isn't the d plane also going left and further away causing the club to close more as it is further ahead? Maybe move the ball back or hold on longer?

You cans still "hit up" and fade it, you just have to aim a whole lot more left and have a more open clubface than you think to account for it.
