Driver Tee Height - Low or High

I'm a 20 handicap and have been taking lessons all winter. My swing has gotten better so I purchased a Nike Symo2 Str8-Fit 10.5 driver to replace my beginner Adams A3OS driver that I started hooking and hitting very high. I never hit the Adams well and mostly used my 5 wood off the tee averaging 220 yards. I went out to try the Nike driver today, and I was hitting the ball around 170 carry with a high ball flight. I had the ball teed up with slighly less than half the ball above the crown. Needless to say I was not realy happy since my 5 wood was going 200 off the mat. I heard the shallow face drivers were easier to hit off the deck so I tried one off the mat (something I have never tried before). My first shot took off with a low ballflight, but I bet it went at least 220 in the air. I kept hitting the driver off the mat with good results. I was actually laughing since they were better shots than my teed balls. I then tried a low tee position with the ball in the center of the clubface and it worked great.

Do you think I should stick with the low tee height?

What is everyone else using with a shallow face driver?

Stick with the lower tee height for the shallow faced drivers. The deeper faced drivers may require a higher tee height but it may be that the shallow faced driver works better for your swing, especially if you swing more steeply.
