Could you guys enlighten me a little... .

How do you "apply" extensor action properly without loosing the looseness/relaxness of the arms and wrists??
I've also been having "some" problems getting and maintaining my left wrist flat.
That twistaway action is supposed to help achieving the flat left wrist(???), but seems as if that also causes my wrists to tense.

Any ideas...?

I received a couple of pearls on extensor action from Brian and Tom at the Orlando golf school.

Brian told me that the force used in extensor action was analogous to tugging on the sleeve of your shirt. You use enough force to remove the wrinkles and make the fabric smooth, but not so much that you stretch the material.

Tom told me that one way to get the feeling of extensor action is to stand arms length from a wall, and place your right palm flat on the wall. You then lean into the wall and allow your right elbow to bend 20 degrees and hold that position. Extensor action of the right arm is what holds your body in that position and stops you from crashing into the wall.

Hope this helps.
