Fact or Fiction: Weight Distribution & Pivot can potentially inhibt a str8 plane line
When I think about finishing my swing on my left heel it gets me in a good frame of mind:
1) Good weight distribution at setup (not too much on the toes)
2) The ability to feel "open" at impact (shoulders open = same axis tilt) and actually be able to get left w/o OTT.
I fight being underplane a lot, esp w/ the driver and whenever I think about these things my ball striking improves. The big hook or push is now out of the equation. Dispersion pattern is much, much better.
Question is, how big of a factor does the above play in tracing a straight-er plane line?
BTW my vote is FACT!
