FAQ on terms, D-Plane Trackman

I see in one of the posts, you are going to modify the site. For us whose whole life is not golf (only 98%). Coming back to the site, I get lost in the short forms, D-plane , misc others.

If you could set up an area, where I could go and get updated.
It would help me.

This is why I would love a student subforum. To save Brian's valuable time, it could be moderated by a trusted associate, but it would be a place where we could get educated on the terminology, physics and geometry needed to follow the discussions.

Martin's suggestion of a glossary would probably be the ideal first sticky.

I bought a copy of TGM, but found that useless until I discovered Richie3Jack's blog. It then got to the point that I stopped reading the book and just read the blog. A lof of the techie talk can be understood by checking out Richie's blog.

Yea, Richie does a nice job explaining things to you NASCAR fans =)
