Fiddle Drill Question

Brian,

I'm a new member of your community thanks to the great video you did with Michael Jacobs. I bought a couple of your videos and watched them along with most of the UTube videos.

I love the fiddle drill which instantly helped me get better contact and club head speed. But, I have a question. It seems to me that, when doing this drill, the club goes through a different set of positions than you talked about in the Soft Draw video that shows the butt of the club pointing at the target, and then club head pointing at the target on the downswing.

Am I missing something?? When I try point the butt of the club at the target on the downswing it seems next to impossible to hit the ball squarely.

There are a lot of different patterns/swings, what works for one, won't work for another.
