Just go in with the idea to try to swing like you always do. Then let the numbers sink in. Have fun.

I've only been on TM two times but in both instances my driver distances (carry and roll) were supposedly about 10% more than I usually hit it. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of TM in distance indication. Anyone else have a similar experieince?

This depends on a lot of factors, type of ball, wind, height of grass... The most important thing is to get your numbers more "tour-like" toward an ideal ball flight for your game.

I did not really pay that much attention to distances since I was using range balls. I was more into my VSP and attack angle numbers for me. One of our TM owners will probably be able to tell us.

I was hitting range balls which would seem to make the longer distance even more suspect. My swing speed is only in the mid 80's (just had my 62nd BD) but my smash factor is consistenly high. Does 235 total distance make sense from a reasonableness standpoint? On the course, I seem to be in the 215-220 range.

Range balls usually go farther for me too--harder balls and less spin.

I meant just the opposite. I've always read that range balls go only 90% of the distance a good ball would travel. My spin rate was really low though......about 2,200

Range balls do travel a shorter distance in the air..

What you need to look at is carry distance and not total with roll. The trackman assumes perfect tour fairway conditions for the amount of roll it adds to your total distance. That distance clearly changes depending on conditions of the fairway that you are playing.
