First lesson with Brian

Let me jump right to the conclusion. Do whatever you have to do to get a two hour lesson with this man.

I won't go into the specifics because every lesson is undoubtedly unique and dependent on you as an individual - strength, flexibility, handicap, path problem, face problem and so on. This is the beauty of his teaching. No formula, no dogma, just what you need to hit it purer and further.

Expect to be challenged. You will be asked to move out of your comfort zone but he pushes you with humour, gentle cajoling, and compassion. He knows, that for you, the golf swing is more than a skill, it is a passion. He understands this and teaches with the same commitment.

Perhaps this is getting too gushy. But let me give you a concrete example. What other $200 per hour golf teacher has gotten down behind you on his knees, grabbed your hips and twisted those hips as you swung so that you could feel exactly what he was asking you to do?

Get a lesson folks if you can.

Did the Same For me!

On Brian's recent visit to Las Vegas I had the pleasure of Brian squeezing me in for a half hour lesson. He got behind me too, wasn't on his knees though and grabbed my left and right hip belt loops and turned my hips to feel impact position. Brian being a fellow Italian we decided to call the move "Giving Me The Business"

It was a great experience that I wish circumstances would have allowed for more time!

Thank you sooooo..... much Brian. Next time we do dinner, ok!

Thanks for the kind words Drew and Jimmy.

As a stickler for correct attribution, I must say that "giving you the business," as a metaphor for getting the golfer's pivot to move correctly to and through the ball, is a Ben Doyle term.

Credit where credit is due.

One day Ben was "giving his student the business," in his own way—standing very close to the student on the target side of the arms, with his right hand half in your pants around the waist area, and the other hand holding the head back.

The student was a pretty young lady with a sarong skirt on.

Ben did his deal and POOF!! the shirt came off and fell to the ground.

Ben told us about it, and then remarked, "She had the cutest little panties..."
