Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. This is my third season of golf and I'm starting to get tired of my lack of progress. I tried to do the "conventional" swing until now but I haven't been consistent at all. My biggest problem is not getting GIR. On a good day I might get 6-7. My putting is ok, I don't 3 putt often but I don't 1 putt often either. My chipping is inconsistent to say the least, and that makes my inability to get GIR's an even bigger problem. I'm a 15 handicap and I am just stuck their. It seems that even when I practice a lot I can't take it to the course (mostly my chipping), which makes me think that I'm just not practicing the right thing.
Should I just keep trying the conventional swing? I'm just frustrated, being stuck at a 15 cap for a full season is not fun. Someone help me please!!!
BTW, I've watched a few of the BM golf show's....they seem pretty good (i only watched for about 15 mins) but are there any that really go over the basics of how to make a good swing? I think I may be in need of starting over here. Also is it worth it to buy the Golfing Machine book?
