first post...and some rules.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. This is my third season of golf and I'm starting to get tired of my lack of progress. I tried to do the "conventional" swing until now but I haven't been consistent at all. My biggest problem is not getting GIR. On a good day I might get 6-7. My putting is ok, I don't 3 putt often but I don't 1 putt often either. My chipping is inconsistent to say the least, and that makes my inability to get GIR's an even bigger problem. I'm a 15 handicap and I am just stuck their. It seems that even when I practice a lot I can't take it to the course (mostly my chipping), which makes me think that I'm just not practicing the right thing.

Should I just keep trying the conventional swing? I'm just frustrated, being stuck at a 15 cap for a full season is not fun. Someone help me please!!!

BTW, I've watched a few of the BM golf show's....they seem pretty good (i only watched for about 15 mins) but are there any that really go over the basics of how to make a good swing? I think I may be in need of starting over here. Also is it worth it to buy the Golfing Machine book?

Get never Slice Again 2.0, it's a great jumping off point. I don't care if you don't slice, it's a great video for almost anyone. And if you're a 15 handicap, the odds are in your favor that it will help you.

How far are you from either Kentucky or Louisiana? If you're serious about improving, which based on your comments you are, then some time with Brian is WELL worth the money.

RULES.

THE THREAD STARTER WAS EDITED BY ME...

We don't talk about other methods on this forum if possible.

I used to do it all the time, and I was very honest in my comentary, which is rare in the golf biz. Anyhoo, you are always fighting folks who "have a horse in the race," and that is just a waste of my time.

I will say this, I think my stuff is the best out there. And my live teaching takes a back seat to nobody.

I improve everyday, and I know most folks just teach what they have for years.

I used to have to argue about the "purity" of what I teach, when it came to someone else's book.

I teach out of my book—THE MANZELLA MATRIX.

If Mr. Golfman 5000 wants to get better, he has found the right place.

Whoops....sorry for breaking the rules on my first day! Well I definitely want to get better and I'm willing to try anything, but be prepared to be bombarded with questions!

And in response to holeout, well I live in B.C. Canada....so Louisiana or Kentucky would be a pretty big trip lol. I'll definately give the Never Slice again video a look too, thanks for the suggestion.
