Fix for steep angle with driver

Brian and others, I am a long time member of your fantastic site. Although I have not posted much, I've visited the site almost daily and very much appreciate all the valuable inforrmation that is available to everyone. I know this has been debated before, but I feel that my driver swing is a little steep on the downswing. I am a very good fairway wood and iron striker of the ball. I can usually hit my 3 wood very consistently 250 with a slight draw. Sometimes after I've hit my driver with a colored tee, I can see the faint imprint from the top of tee stamped onto the ball. Is there a simple fix to hit the driver with more consistency ? My misses are both right and left. I feel I am giving up valuable yardage by having to hit the 3 wood a lot. I am currently a 4 hndcp, with a swing speed of about 110. Many thanks in advance. Also Brian, is this addressed in any of your current Dvds ?

Too steep...get on the plane!

Like a plane LANDING...not like a plane crashing....

But how?

Here is a quick list:

#1 - Make sure the ball is just inside your left shoulder and your head is well behind the ball at address

#2 - Keep your head back through impact

#3 - Swing under a stick that is about a foot off the ground on the target line, six inches or so behind the ball

#4 - keep your right shoulder down AND BACK.

#5 - Learn to keep the clubface closing vertical to the ground on the way to a flat left wirst finish swivel

#6 - Start the BUTT of the club down like an UNDERHAND javelin thrower

#7 - Keep your tailbone ahead of your neck bone

#8 - Make sure to get your right shoulder to REACH the turned shoulder plane at the top

#9 - Watch Lee Trevino swings over and over like SyberVision

#10 - Swing your arms from the shoulder sockets

Brian, many thanks for the tips you posted for my problem with the driver. I had my best driving round of the whole year today, making five birdies. I even drove one par four that measures 310 yards for a two putt birdie. I had one practice range season a couple of days ago , I focused mainly on the set up position , making sure the tailbone was ahead of the neck and keeping my head back of the ball on the downswing. My wife is planning a trip to the Big Easy this fall, might have to look up the "stallion " for some more work ! Many thanks again.
