Somewhere in the release thread Brian mentioned that he turns his lead hand towards his trailing hand as hard as he can in the downswing. Today I was trying to get the flexion extension thing going through the ball. Very hard to get that lead wrist to extend. Then I applied a little twistaway and it became a lot easier. Intuitively it makes sense that increasing the flexion of the lead wrist makes it a lot easier to subsequently fire it into extension. But that is intuition. Can one of our biomechanics gurus comment?
