Brian,
Having watched the flipper video (thanks again, awesome) I can now hit PROPER pitches for the first time in years. Using what feels like 80 less backswing I am getting much more distance.
Wallop with the pivot
My bad full swing shot is a pull hook or pull with the occasional snapper. Ball flight is also a little high for my likling. How do you tell if it is a flipper hook or a over the top hook. Although the right hand side of the course doesn't fear me I don't feel I am over the top. My last lesson the pro had said I was moving to far to the right with no turn but the pivot thing has me a little confused. I don't feel I should be raising my arms as I do that too much already. Should I be doing the crossing the guard drill if I may swing out to the right too much?
Thanks in advance and I'm sorry if this is all reposted stuff. I'm sure a light bulb will go off in my head soon.
Regards
