Float loading/down cocking bends left wrist

I am hitting my 7-LW very well using a real compact float loading pattern of adding right elbow bend, right wrist bend and left wrist cock at dowswing transition, however, its not carrying over to the longer clubs.

I am actually steepening the plane by the way I down cock. I am really compressing the higher clubs, but with a lot of spin and a bit of a pull (As a side note, its been great for my bunker play).

Its just too steep of a pattern to carry over to the longer clubs, but when get on the plane with the longer clubs, the down cocking drastically bends my left wrist.

Anybody that understands what I am describing is welcome to opine.

I think I understand what you are saying, as I've been doing some experimenting with a similar pattern.

The key for the longer clubs is that you need to let the float-loading transition also shift you to a shallower plane. Watch Sergio or Lucas Glover swings on video: when you load the right elbow let the clubhead fall back to a slightly flatter plane.

To achieve this would you need to get your right elbow (assuming right-handed) more in front of you - punch (or even pitch) in TGM terms?
