Free Wheeling

with all this talk of flipping/not flipping, i remember talk not too long ago about letting the club "free wheeling" through impact. this is my feeling when i swing.

to me, i feel that to pull along the shaft to start down, add force across the shaft at vertical to the ground, and then let the club free wheel around the left wrist, which will bend.

however if there is enough FATS then the left wrist will not bend before impact, only after impact. is this optimal, efficient or advisable?

I would say do whichever that creates the combination of most speed and precision and worry about what it looks like on video (to an extent)

by "free wheeling", mean applying, by manzella terms, no torque on the club through impact. just letting the momentum of the club whizz the club by my hands (and to my feeling my left hand in particular) and through impact and re-cock back up the plane all by itself, with no help from me
