geometrically flat

I did a test of two lead wrist positions at the range today. #1 was a neutral grip as advocated by Brian on Never Slice Again where I flattened the lead wrist early in the takeaway and simply dragged those conditions thru impact. #2 was to strengthen the grip significantly, not as severe as Duvall or Azinger, but a good 2 knuckles. I simply tried to maintain the cup as set at adress throughout the swing. Both balls flew very well, with #1 seeming to "get out there" a little quicker and had sort of a push look to it, like you just look at whatever target you want to go to and push it there. #2 had a slightly higher flight and probably more distance, but felt more timing oriented but freer as well. My problem with #1 is I feel all bound up, #2 being a more flowing feel. For what it's worth.
