How to fix?

Pivot controlled hands - which should be hands controlled pivot.

You will never be able to move your body as fast as you can move your hands so why persist in trying.

Answer is to "educate the hands". The hands will then lead the body into the motion it needs to make in order to get the job done.

When you hammer a nail, you automatically arrive with hands and head together - actually the handle gets there a bit early. So I avoid, eliminate! the getting stuck by imagining the ball to be an impact bag. My objective is the collision. It is an a priori condition of the swing that before I even begin to swing down, I have the image of the collision with hands just a bit ahead of clubhead. Forming that image is the key for me.

Even if you use a pivot controlled hands condition it is still controlled hands.
