Wishing all of you—and yours—a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Things I am happy for in golf:
My Dad. He convinced me I could be the very best at something. He taught me to play for a score, and the importance of good equipment. All of that and a billion other things.
Bentley J. Doyle. He taught me the essence of The Golfing Machine, and how to swing like a PGA Tour pro. He taught me a lot about the golf instruction business, and the real history of The Golfing Machine. And most of all, he taught me to always think the student could "do it right."
Homer Kelley. He wrote a book, but the most important thing he did, he didn't even know he did. He made the swing make sense.
Frank Mackel II, Dave Lagarde, Larry Griffin, Rick Martino, George Peper, The Golf Channel, and everyone who didn't help me, & tried to squash me flat. They made me try 100 times harder than I would have without them.
The REAL Members of the Manzella Golf Forum. Thanks for being a part of my day, my career, and making me better at what I do, by asking good questions, and coming from all over the world to learn from me. To the fictitious members of the forum: Have a nice day from whatever ip address/location you're supposed to be at today.
