Glow balls

I'm doing some glow ball tournament coming up and the thought of hitting one of those things got me thinking about damage to my driver. So I made a google search and found this:

"Warning: Do not use hollow metal woods as the golf ball may damage your club. Use only solid woods, irons and putters."

Any info on these balls? I really don't want to do this. :(

Just found this:

"**BEWARE** Nitelite Golf Glow Balls WILL ruin your Driver/Fwy Woods/Hybrid. **DO NOT USE**, DO NOT use glow balls made by Nitelite Golf or cnisbelieving.com"

The ball ruined his driver and 3w.

There was a post last year in one of the forums from Ari at Scratch Golf on this very subject. He crushed the face of his new (and VERY expensive) Tourstage driver on one of these balls during a round of night golf. He then posted his email and phone conversations with the company - which wasn't very responsive...

I have the little red flashing LED balls. They are hard as rocks so I tee of with the hybrid when using them. It's still fun.
