Did anyone else catch the coverage of the PGA Merchandise Show on the Golf Channel?

The greatest clip was when they were on the practice range and the golf channel announcer was trying to get a top 100 instructor to demonstrate some sort of foam gadget. The instructor made two swings at the ball with the gadget supposedly helping him stay on plane. The instructor hit the gadget both times and sent the foam piece flying. Priceless coverage. The announcer tried to blame the instructor for making nervous swings at the ball. Did you all catch this?

I did see the guy smash the training device--amazing. I thought they did too much talking on their little set anhd I REALLY got tired of the fashion guy ("Oh let's see I'll take this, and this, and this---I really like the colors this year.") Give me a #%*$%# break. Dr Dave

I'd love to hear some reports on those blades (Tigers) if anyone has hit them?

I'm not a big fan of the blades. If you go blades I don't think there is any club that compares to the Mizuno's. I have the new MP-32's and love them. I had the mp-14's before that.

I was able to get to the show on sunday and tried the sonartech fairway wood with the gold insert (np-99) in the back because Brian said that was THE club. I loved it. I was hitting it great. BUT, it costs like $300.

Anyone?

I'd love to pick up a set of these if I can find a good price and they are solid performers. Anyone have any 'connections' for a decent deal? (way more cash at full price than the 'boss' would allow).

Drop me an email with any feedback - Thanks!

Get them on ebay from a dealer. They ship straight from Nike and you prolly get them $150 cheaper.
I'd hit them first if I were you. They felt like crap to me and I play blades. I don't think Nike is quite there yet in blade technology. I was like you and wanted them bad because they looked good, but the feel was just not there.

Bummer to hear that they really aren't up to par with other blades. Do you normally play x100's?

I play s300 with the dynamic lite shaft. I use x in my driver.
Try those Mizuno mp-32's. Sweet club.

I'll give em a go for sure. I've been hitting 1025M's, which I really enjoy and will keep, but I'd like a blade with more feedback and trajectory control. I use s300's in the 1025's, and probably should have used s400's or X100's as I hit them higher than I'd like and they aren't as easy to knock down as others I've played.

I'm going to take a look at the 32's, 33's and 37's, I've always enjoyed Mizunos solid feel (in fact I think most of the mid to higher players should be hitting 23's or 30's, some great feel for forgiving irons IMO). Same for the 1025's, but with less feedback.

I've seen some reviews that 32's have a fairly high ball flight - how would you compare them to 33's etc?

Thanks - EZ

I actually hit them lower then the 14 or 33's. I was going to get the 33's becasue of the forgivness, but the 32's are just pure and suit my eyes at address. I haven't found a pure blade that is this easy to hit. Even miss hits don't kill.

I prefer a high ball flight, but my ball flight is do to my breakdown of the wrist. When I swing right the trajectory is med. to high.

I got mine custom made and delievered from the factory on ebay. I paid like $600 for 3-pw. Pretty good deal considering they go for $800 in the pro shops. I had them in a little over a week from order.
