Hello fellow addicts [)]

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

I've been golfing off and on for over 8 years, 35 yrs old and this year finally broke into the single digits (8.9 HC). I love to study the game and can be overly obsessive about finding out the why's and how's of the game.

After spending the last year working hard on my game,I've grown increasingly frustrated on the lack of progress at this point. I've taken numerous lessons and as of yet do not have a consistent repeatable swing. Recently, I've discovered TGM and over the last week with the help of some very generous people on forums (DukeNasty, Redgoat, Jim, various Yodas) pieced together a quasi TGM swing. I was very skeptical at first, due to the apparent complexities of the terms, but have over the last few days gotten very excited about golf again. There is much to learn and I'm hungry for the information, so I hope to get some light bulbs turned on over the next while. What better time to tinker with the swing but in the winter? I live in Vancouver, BC and the local TGM instructor currently has a family crisis and won't be available for a while. But I've left my number and anxiously await response.

I look forward to reading your posts and hope that we all find the middle of the fairway more often :D

Welcome aboard! I love that nickname...actually, my friends and I always had an inside joke when we used to work at the local muni. One of my friends was struggling with a case of the Push-Slices for about a week. One of the locals came in and said "Hey Jason, hows your game?" Jason replied, "Oh, it alright"! We started laughing as his 'alright' actually meant "ALL RIGHT"!!

Enjoy the journey!
