Gregg McHatton 5-iron swing. Very Dynamic, slow and HEAVY!

Effortless power?

How far would you say he hit that? That kind of effortless power is something which eludes me.

It looks like he drops the club and allows his pivot to finish the golf stroke for him... In some ways it reminds me of Fred couples.

The pivot looks like the old signature Brian Manzella move from the old site.

You can definitely see the tailbone ahead of the neckbone as BM has so expertly advised.

Some instructors don't wish to debate the golf swing, but if Gregg hopped on and he and Brian went back and forth I think everyone would be on the edge of their seat, here's to hope!

Was anyone there for this shot or know about how far he hits a 5 iron? Does he go after it harder with an iron? What about with the driver?

Watching Tiger make practice swings at Medina last week, my first thought was how much it looked like Gregg's. I went back to my saved video's and was amazed how similar they are.

Gregg's swing

I first off would like to thank Brian for putting up the swing. Like everbody else i enjoy looking at all the swings on this forum. There are some mashers on this site. So enjoy and like Ben Doyle says "Sustain the Lag"

Right forefinger

In the video that Brian posted, is Greg's right forefinger off the clubshaft like the drill that Brian has talked about before?

As I said, very good, but holding the late angles after impact is causing more deacceleration than I would prefer. I'm a proponent of acceleration all the way into the finish. I've noticed some TGMers seems don't do that; compare to TW, etc.

wrong his bad shots are slightly fat as he doesnt quite get to drag the pivot and the lever assemblies to the selected aiming point.

Im guessing his bad shots are quick snap hooks?
