Mr McHatton states in his DVD that you should drag the club back in the backstroke and have no lift. The lift will occur naturally as you shift and turn. This is true pivot controlled hands is it not. Only adds to the confusion for me whether pivot controlled hands is a easier alternative to hands controlled. He states that Homer didn't like swinging as it is too easy.

He did make a very nice looking swing and it is good fun trying his drill of throwing the butt of the club into the ground but i do not see any tour pros swinging this way. Is this way of swinging designed more for the hacker do you think?

Sounds fishy to me...

I play along...

The "Lagging-Clubhead Takeaway" has NOTHING to do whether the stroke is PIVOT or HAND controlled.

NOTHING.

As for Gregg's stroke pattern being "Modern Tour-Like," it isn't. So what?
