I know its supposed to be "light" and have always had a really overtight grip and have been playing with lightening it up, but my question Is the grip pressure pretty much the same for both hands? I have been playing around with it, and it seems to me that if my right hand (I am right handed) has really light pressure and my left hand holds on a tighter than my right I hit the ball pretty good, just curiouse, thanks

The grip pressure should be as firm as possible to allow for flexible wrists with the following fingers:

Last three fingers on left hand.

Middle and ring finger on right hand.

Do not put pressure with your right thumb and forefinger! That's one of the reasons people complain they can't feel clubhead lag pressure.

Could you please clarify this statement? I read it in two different ways.

A) grip the club as firm as possible because it allows for flexible wrists.

B) grip the club as firmly as possible while still keeping flexible wrists.

Also my golf pro advocates a more firm grip with the right hand with than the left. Although not a TGM AI, I've heard him quote Homer many times. I believe that the motive is to keep a soft left arm. What is your opinion of that?

Thanks!
