Nothing like shanking it off the tee, hitting a 9 iron from the rough @ 155 and then making a birdie.

I wonder how many more big pushes, shanks, and "almost" shanks Tiger has to hit before he figures out Haney's theory of plane really doesn't work.

Shame.

If you've had a chance to see the Tiger's swing sequence in Golf Digest from last month you'd notice Hank has modified his understanding of plane. It is quite different than what he has published in his books from years back. He's teaching something crazy like the butt of the club points at an extension of the baseline????
