hand path issue

Can't get my hands deep enough without sucking clubhead way inside hands at first parallel which always results in me going way accross the line and way underplane on downswing. Sick of streaky ball-striking because of over the line/underplane issues. I've watched quite a few videos of Brian's videos, but it just hasn't clicked for me. Tumbling drills have helped but I just feel like it's hard to do that with the high/out hands, over the line top of the swing I have.

Feel for you. The reason why I went to NHA 2 as my stock pattern.

I would watch Brian's Matt Kuchar video. With proper sequencing, the hands CAN move in with the clubhead staying out.

No expert here but have you seen Soft Draw? Like ekennedy mentioned, it shows you the hands in move while the club stays out.

Just as soon as I can get it in on video, I'll send you a face on and down the line. I sent you my swing 2 or 3 years ago and you said it was an "awesome classic swing" I'm just discouraged because I haven't been able to duplicate that swing, I'm bigger now, and I don't know how much that has to do with it. I can PM you on Saturday at the earliest.

Couple things, with no video... Across the line at the top is over plane. It only gets under if you back up to shallow out the steepness that across line causes in transition. So it sounds like a cause/effect deal. Now if you lay if off and still back up you get way under, super shallow. Sounds like you might be reverse tumbling, not tumbling. But I can't tell wo seeing it?

Did u find a way to not suck the clubhead way insideon the takeaway? if not try this, take a club hold/grip it so the grip end is on the ground, go find a long semi smooth wall interior or exterior, face the wall, now take the club with the grip on the ground and address the wall like u have a ball in other word stick the but of the club where the wal and the floor meet. Now take the club away ala back swing but keep the butt end touching the wall till the club gets paralell to the ground from there detach the club from wall and put the club at the end of the bs see if that helps.

KINDA FUNNY BUT, I HAVE THE OPPOSITE PROBLEM. I have to feel like my club goes in first otherwise the club will never get the plane desired
